My Mother

My mother, my superhero

Faced with unfairness

Created hope and rainbows

For her kids.

My mother, my mentor

Faced with unfairness

Became an author

Of her own story.

My mother, my superhero

Faced with unfairness

Taught me to grow

To the person I am today.

My mother, my mentor

Thank you for everything

Thank you for your kinder

Soul, who taught me to be the same.

My mother,

I thank you.
