To my mother

February 28th of 1987,a girl born beautiful like she came from heaven

Pretty black skin and bowed little legs

Destined for greatness awakening within

Fighting her tears and showing her strength

She is a goddess step up to repent

A queen what she is and everything I owe

Put me in the world like a seed that you sow

Grateful as ever on;y thing I can be

I love you no matter mom what I hope that you see
