To My Mother

You clean the dishes,

You mop the floor.

It would be almost impossible

To do anything more!

You feed us, you care for us,

You love us too

Even though now,

My foot fits in your shoe!

You are so kind,

And give us so much love

When we are cold,

You will spare your glove.

Mom, you’re so thoughtful,

You'll help us when we’re down,

You can get a smile,

Out of a sad, little frown!

When we are ever so tired,

You let us lay.

We love you so much!

Happy Mother’s Day!
