My Mothers Eyes

Remembering old times,
Just with you,
To look in your eyes,
And admire the view.
Getting older we are,
Watching me grow,
I will never go far,
For you need to know.
I am now sixteen,
Getting ready to fly,
It’s only a different scene,
For I wouldn’t lie.
Don’t worry, I will always replay the sweet lullabies,
And remember the view I got of my mother’s eyes.
