My Mother’s Imatation

The sunrise reminds me of my mother.

Warm and inviting, her smile imitates the spread of light across the damp ground.

The orange hues reminds me of her hugs; warm and inviting.

The birds chirping soothes me as her voice does.

My mother is the sunrise, as beautiful and broad as the rays that lay upon the ground.
