My motivation

The sun always shines when a new life comes to earth But everything is grey when another goes 8 feet into the earth Now there is 5 fatherless children And a mother wondering if there’s enough food in the kitchen What is she to do then? Give it all up? Or give it her all To see her children at the end stand tall? The path is rough But to a loving mother this isn’t even a thought To her, all her children are the unpolished diamonds in the rough She sees the tremendous potential, even when they don’t Let them down? I’m almost positive she won’t It’s been 10 years now Now I’m the youngest of them all And none of us are yet to stand tall Now I promise to myself to at least give it my all How my mother has done till this day Now I only pray to make momma proud And make the sun shine its brightest that day
