To My Muse

Afraid to start a new

I buried myself in gray.

Bound to lose myself and all senses;

I found you, my radiant, blinding light

Your exquisite aura inticing, I reached for you.

So close yet distant, your eyes led me to you

I long to hold you close unitl we're one,

For I am afraid of falling down.

Comfort my numb heart,

Embracing your warm body.

Listening to your heartbeat,

My sweet lullaby.

Sing me goodnight

Kiss me goodnight,

Sing me to sleep.
