My Name

Guard you heart and guard your mind,
I realize it takes some time, for you I am becoming aware of how much I really care.
Blurry trees as we drive by, one look at you I start to smile,
In the wind swaying like a flower, pretty to look, but not desired.
Something in the way you say my name.
You map the ground I'm walking on,
Sweet as that summer song,
the one you whispered in my ear, the one you know I want to hear.
You haunt me in an exciting way, let me in and let me stay,
Under the branches these trees talk of something that makes my hart stop.
Something in the way you say my name.
