Me, myself, and I agree we prefer poems over essays

English teacher for senior year made me like poems and understand them.

First time poet. I will not disagree with me being an amateur

Amateur, the phase of thinking you know it all.

My whole life, I never understood why people liked poems.

On my mind, I felt they were a bit too boring

Learning about it, found out everything written is a poem

Learning, I drafted my first poem about Catholicism in  15 minutes

Eager to understand it, I did my work on Langston Hughes

Yes! And now, I just spelt my name out in all the beginning letters to write a poem.
