My Necessity
As I as look at my surroundings and see that I am stranded
I realize that my life is to come shortly to end
How I regret all those times that I could've made amends
To the people I hurt, and to the people that have hurt me
I know that on this rock is where I will die
But that all means nothing to me as long as I have you by my side
Your laugh is what keeps me afloat
Your smile is what rocks my boat
With you I am able to myself, me
With you I am able to be truly free
