"My New Mommy and Daddy"

I was born to you today,

As sweet as a baby can be.

God chose you as my parents,

For all eternity.

I can’t wait

For the great times we will have,

And I couldn’t be more proud,

To have you two as my Mom and my Dad.

I already love you both

Unconditionally,

And I can’t wait to be part

Of each family tree.

I will realize later in life

That God gave me the best Mom and Dad.

When I mature,

I will understand

No Mom and Dad is perfect,

Not even the best Moms and Dads.
