My New World

The evergreens sway in this residual wind. I would like to think this is not the last of the cold, That there is something left to shake these bare limbs. Maybe I was cold to it long ago last year, I just caught the glimmer in the afterpart, It seems so unnatural this should happen once more, I remember You never said it would be easy. So aware, so strange, I percieve it all. You can never go home again it is so true. But you can start over where you left off Pick it up, move to greater heights, I was so naive before it all unfurled, So I sail on, towards the new world.
