My Next

Sitting here all alone thinking about the past, thinking about the present, thinking about the future. I think about my best friend and why he isn’t here sitting beside me. I’m thinking of all the times we shared and wonder if one day we could share moments again I think of the places that I’ve been and my adventures that I had. I think back to the simpler times way back when, how everything has changed. I think about my next. It’s how I refer to my next new goal, the next new thing I want, the place I’m going to go, the decisions I need to make to get there. Never before have I had the trouble of not knowing how to get somewhere as I do now. I think back through my prior decisions and those I will make in the future only now I wonder, what was the purpose of any of it? What is my purpose.
