My Nostalgia

Soft, purple material touches my face

If only I was brave enough to taste

Close to me, dear to my heart

Oh, the feeling of its warm embrace

Calm, enticing voice sings the words

My heart pumps at every verb

"I love you, you love me..."

My mom, to whom I often turn

Take it everywhere I go

You can't take it away. No!

I cry tears without my Barney

Oh how I miss it so...
