My Ocean

Dear Ocean,

Pure, forceful energy of the heavens

You are awakened by nature

Your surfaces of blue

Horizons of gold

Cradle of my heart

Beautiful one day

Deadly another

Your mystery allures me

You bring me peace and serenity

I am so far away from you

Yet I feel you call to every part of me

I breathe in your essence

I exhale my worries

Ocean, you are the home of my soul.
