My One, My Only.

I love you.

Not only because of who you are.

You are a sweet surprise under a hard shell.

You are smart, powerful, wonderful.

I laugh.

When I'm with you, I laugh.

I love you because you taught me how to really laugh.

From a dark place to a better one,

A place where I can be content.

I was broken.

I feared I would never love someone.

I regret believing that it wasn't for me.

I had seen love, but never how I see it now.

I see it in you, in me, in everything.

My one, my only.

Forever you will be.

You changed me.

I love you because you changed me.

You showed me the best parts of myself,

You helped me forget the bad.

You helped me put down the bottles,

and for once I no longer needed them.

Once, I was empty.

You filled me with light and love and

I truly believe it was a miracle.

You showed me who I am, taught me how to love.

That is the greatest gift of all.

I am in love.

My one, my only.

Forever you will be.

In a broken society, where love is found in

Bottles.

Pills.

Money.

Food.

Sex.

I found it in you.

I love you.

Not only because of who you are,

but because the way you have brightened the world for me.

My one, my only.

Forever you will be.

Without you, I would crumble.

If we choose different paths,

(God, let us stay on the same)

My heart will still belong to you.

My world will still be brighter;

my time with you will remain in my heart

leading me where I should go.

If we part, let us find each other in the afterlife, the next life, whatever is to come.

My one, my only.

Forever you will be.
