my Only friend

Your necklace is the color of innocent virgin

blood. The light jingle of metal clashing from

your necklace worn by you and only you sends

frozen blade down my back after it rejoices

my ear.

The silent noise of a dead man's touch echoes

throughout the empty halls as darkness

slithers not to far behind. When your

love for me is at its pike your stride is

stronger than carbon.

The lifeless color of my soul stares back at

me while a tear of a ghost drops on the wooden

floor on which you lay. As I slump past your point of

comfort I am pierced by your thoughts of

encouragement and hope, but I do not take action.

Your love for me is everlasting,

but our lives are the sun and the earth

and will eventually come to a halt.

You are my only friend, you are my

dog
