You've been faithful to me from the start, The only one to stay by my side, The one who is there for me when I'm in need, Who I listen to when I need help, You supported me beyond belief, You even decide my mood, my state of mind, There are times when you can be bad, even horrid, Yet others find you pleasurable then, somehow you always seem to be around me, Calming me, caressing me, lulling me to sleep, Or on other occasions exciting me and making me thrash about in a crazy manner, Most of the time I'm with you I close my eyes and think, Think about everything, Who we are, What life is, Where do we go, It's all unnerving and I never seem to find an answer, But you, your always there to bring me back to reality, And sometimes you are there to take me away from reality, To lead me into the fantasy world that I have molded in my own hands, Life would be excruciatingly painful without you, You have been there for me when others have failed to come, You have supported me when I have been betrayed, Always there to wipe the tears away when they start to fall, To remind me of how stupid cutting is, The one thing that brought me back from the darkness, Coaxed me out from my nightmares, Comforted me with your presence, You made me feel safe, secure, and at home, That's why I do not want to lose you, I want you to stay with me forever, for all eternity.
