My Opinion

10 Years from now, we’ll still be here;

Arguing if measures will help the defenseless.

The ever present fear will always be near.

There’s no reason to allow the Left to put me in fear,

Or question a gun owner’s senses.

10 Years from now, we’ll still be here.

There’ll always be the need to be your home’s musketeer.

There’ll always be the need to challenge the lobbying menace.

The ever present fear will always be near.

“Too soon to discuss Politics” will ring in my ear.

Marches for Life will be endless.

10 Years from now, we’ll still be here.

The bullet will go through the child and the deer.

It will be used by the wasted talent and friendless.

The ever present fear will always be near.

It will still be American as drivers with beer.

It doesn’t matter whether or not it’s senseless.

10 Years from now, we’ll still be here.

The ever present fear will always be near.
