My Other Half
My Other Half
He is my rock; he is my best friend.
He is someone in which I can depend.
He was there for me when no one else was.
If you ask him why he says “just because”
He’s there for me, when my world falls apart
He tells me he loves me with his whole heart.
I feel so lonely when he is gone.
He’s the one that I crave at the break of dawn.
He loved me when I was dark inside.
He is the one in which I confide.
“Everyone struggles at some point” he said.
He made me want to live, instead of be dead.
He told me “everything will be okay.”
And I started to fall for him day after day.
He makes me happy, or so you could say,
He really knows how to brighten my day.
I love you babe, with all of my heart.
Thanks for the little things you did from the start.
Thank you for being the one who was there.
Without you, life would be hard to bear.
