My Overactive Imagination

I like to stay up until midnight,

Though sometimes it gives me a good fright,

And at the witching hour,

I hear the bell tower

Welcome the new reign of the twilight.

Then my imagination takes flight;

brings me a princess and shining knight,

an ogre and fairy,

And talking strawberry.

Now I know what I’m going to write.
