My Own Enemy

I’m not like you.
I don’t want to be like you.
People always say:
You’re just like him or her.
Thing is, I’m not.
I’m not turning into something,
I’m not supposed to be: My own enemy.
It seems as though,
I’m being judged daily.
Nothing makes you happy.
So much anger,
Built up inside.
Don’t raise your voice.
At every little choice I make.
I’m not perfect.
I make mistakes.
My own enemy.
My own enemy is me.

I wrote this poem because of always being criticized and I was tired of it.
