My own Remorse

I’m wondering of what to write, should I write about the car crash I was in because I ran a red light, or the time addiction had a hold on me for days and nights

I choose none, for the reason it’s behind me, I already got cleaned and learned from the mistakes I was in. Fracture skull and knee are tattoos I must embrace but the shame I will have to live with until I see death face to face. Choosing to go to college is a start to change, I could almost see my future rearrange.

I will create  my own path to success by giving up drugs, alcohol and sex. Writing this poem shows my new lifestyle. I’ll sign up for clubs and read books with an immense smile. I’all get strong physically and mentally, challenging myself will be my own trial.
