in my own skin

in my own skin is where i am , where i belong, glistening  copper brown as the sun hits me ,i am confident in all aspects because i am comfortable with who i am. I am my mothers princess, my fathers' queen. I am everything ive always hoped to be and knew id become. I am human,  a woman , strong, powerful, all the while fragile, innocent and sweet.
