my own sun

my own sun

day by day, i burn a little brighter

day by day, i learn to love my own heat

day by day, i stand closer to the fire

day by day, i rise from the ashes of the girl i used to be

day by day, i light my own skies

day by day, i warm my own skin

day by day, i give life to all that is around me

day by day, i give life to all that is within
