My Pain

Something you can’t bare Such a look of despair Focusing on the mirror And not knowing who’s there The sun brightens my day A smile brightens my face Then all of the pain inside I try to hide it and erase My feelings get replaced When the fire hit the tip I'm good for a while So now it’s time for me to chill Then the problems come running back And pain gets deeper Monkey on my back the devil try to Bring me deeper My mind start to race You can see it in my face Think I have a good life Bet it’s something you can’t face Became my own man I did it for my mama So she don’t need a man Whatever she need I got her Tired of all the problems But it’s just a part of life Sometimes I stay up in my bed Looking at the wall at night Thinking to myself This dude is a coward Put me in my mama Never seen when I came out her But I don’t really need him I turned out good On my way to the money Because I got to leave the hood My pain is something I can handle So I tune in and listen up but never change the channel.
