My Pain Must Go
How can I say I love you?
Day by Day
When my heart is in pain
And you’re gone away.
How can I say I care?
When I know
Everywhere I turn
You’re not there.
How can I show my love?
To someone I don’t know
Someone I thought I knew
But I just go with the flow.
How can I not fear you?
When I express my thoughts
The feelings you don’t know
Always make me feel caught.
How can I not cry?
When every way I turn
You walk out that door
All I notice is goodbye.
How can a tear?
Fall so deeply low
For you to notice and understand
This is why I write and,
My pain must go.
