MY PAIN IS REAL
Today was not a good day
Tomorrw may be the same way
But I must pray and pray
And hope for a better day
The pain I feel s rea without a doubt
It affects me inside and out
I did not ask for it
Sometimes I want to quit
Other times it grounds me
And other times I want to flee
It make me stronger to defeat the strife
Feeling the pain is a long lesson I've overcome
I just keep going beating to the same drum
This is the life I was given
With God on my side I will stay driven
Lupus doesn't have me, though
This I know
I'm a FIGHTER
And I know my future is brighter
It won't hold me back
Cause I'm always ready to attach
With God, friend and famil always by my side
I will take everything in stride
