For My Parents

Taking time to reflect, I'm grateful for what I've got

Having parents that sacrifice so much for what I have today

American Dream in mind was what led them along the way

Now with the cars and money, the battle's been hard fought

Kicked the doors wide open for my own life's onslaught

Young, only 21, but with your lessons cerebrally embedded

Over and over again, trust me, I"ve been well taught

Understand Mom and Dad that to you I am forever indebted
