My Part

The peculiar part I play while living this life

Invites others into my comedy

My Tradgedy stops them from seeing inside the realm

Of insecurities I wear like stained second-hand clothes picked up at a Thrift Store.

They knock at my door, asking for passage

Begging for permission to see past the sentinel smile

Guarding the Truth living deep within

a little girl.
