In my passing
Funerals arent for the dead. The're for the living. Do not mourn of my passing. It's only the beginning. Rejoice in our reunion. I know you'll miss me. But dont be sad. This is for you, and the life that you're missing. Join together in love. Remember your friend that grew up. Funerals arent for the dead. They're for the living.
I'm elated and remorceful, and through this course of life, I will find peace after heartache and make wrong right. I made many mistakes, but you were not one. I remember when I first met you. I called you my son. I looked and I found you, and in love I wrapped around you, a cover of cleansing, and said you were mine.
I took you with me, to my home unending, and from that day on you felt joy only I knew.
Your promise is greater. Your passion like no other. I seek to know more, and I humble myself. So in the time of my passing, I pray you stay laughing, for I will gain new joy you never knew.
As the chorus and the choir sing a sun rises higher into a falling sea of forgetfulness. I wish for you to remember the love that he delivered. I pray that you all forgive.
In the time of my passing there will be joy, and laughing, because I knew my happiness when I first met you.
And through that joy and that peace, I have given you grief, but until that next day, I love and I wait. For I know once more, I will meet you, anew.
