My Passion For Poetry

Poetry is a song just without the  music 

Its really up to you on how you chose to use it

It reminds me of life it goes on and on

Not ever stopping until the author gets done

Now dont get me mistaken it wasn't always fun

But it was in 4th grade Mrs.Bakers class when it all begun

She taught me the meaning of poerty and how we don't value it enough

And how Maya Angelou and Harriet Tubman had already fought for us

Not just blacks or whites but for all the races in the world

To write poetry using thousands of words

Thats why I have a passion for poetry so deep

Its like rivers of water flowing inside of me

I will never take for granted being able to write a poem

That's why I made it my goal to write one, even if just that one
