My Perfect View

I open my eyes,

Around me are blossoms

How long was I resting?

Is it really time?

Those same four words repeat,

Like they did eleven years ago.

Each dragon I slayed had given me them.

I kept them safe with me, now all of you.

My path through purgatory.

I wouldn’t change a thing.

I needed to get here.

I needed to take my world.

I have been through a woodchipper,

But I’ve also been through planets.

Planets and stars.

As divine as it is, I am still Earth.

Bloody tears were wiped,

Scars were painted over.

And I, the tin man, have a heart.

And I, the scarecrow, have a smile

Broken glass was blissful.

My brick road cleansed now.

My tree, my forever ruler,

This is to you.

My perfect view.

My flawless victory.

My night sky.

I, thy moon.

O’ sun, my sun.

I stay true to my yubikiri.

An eclipse for eternity.

A rock protecting his star.

Realization came as a shogeki

The guiding voice is like a misheard floating ocean.

That’s the story that begins with someone like you.

The story of purified tea.

My keys led me here.

The manifestation of destiny.

Now, get up.

The petals are all around me.
