My person

My person

Confidence that radiates

Like the sunset we watched on the Avon pier in June

Drowsy and dazed from the five a.m. alarm clock

Sand damp with morning salt water dew

The orange glaze of the sun emerging from the water

Reminding me that there is nowhere I’d rather be.
