My Poem

This is my poem.

All mine.

Wait, but I don't know how to write poetry?

You read me your poems and my jaw hits the floor.

So poised. Beautifully written. Music to my ears.

You words flow. Peaceful. Like listening to ocean waves.

I wish I could do that. I can't write.

My teacher even told me "it's not your strongest suit".

Maybe it's because I don't know how. Or because I can't open up.

I wish I could do that. I can't write.

So many things to talk about. My life unnoticed, my constant struggle for perfection, my natural negatitvity, the jealousy that poisons my body as it runs through my veins. So many topics.

But how does one write?

Ramble. Sentence after sentence. Nothing flows.

I wish I could do that. I can write.

You can? Yes I CAN. Look, I'm doing it now. Click, click the letters form words.

I'm doing it! Words into phrases into sentences. It may not all make sense but it's a start.

Poetry. I'm getting it. Wasn't too hard. :)
