My Poem

My Poem
Do they notice me?
Am I really there?
I try to raise my voice but no one can hear me...
What if that voice carried something that was urgent, would they hear then?
Is it bc of my looks, my personality, my height, my weight, what can it be?
I'm too good to be talking about sex or alcohol, say a curse word, woops Jamie is here you can't say that word...
It hurts but with every step I take I try to gain power from my pain and channel it to make something wonderful. I never realized how much writing really does help, it takes the words out of my mind and just keeps it on paper.
Now that I'm done writing I feel refreshed, I no longer feel pain but relief, I will fight to stay strong. This is my song to keep. Can you hear my song?
