My Poem Is Religious

My life once was sad
That was the only struggle
I was just mad
At the world as I watched it crumble

Once full of life
Now full of hatred
People cut down the world with a knife
Not knowing that it's sacred

I can't follow their paths of pain
I sit down open the book
It's an instant call to keep me sane
I have to look
At words that always remain heavenly
The only poem my heart feeds
But will never bleed.

My poem is religion
Yes I'm a Christian
Now who are you?
