My Poetry
Why say how I feel and be juged,
When I can write my truth and feel loved?
When my mother died,
My paper caught my tears.
My pen helped me confront my deepest fears,
Missed spelled words and all.
Poetry never missed my call.
Poetry never put me down.
Poetry was my first true friend.
I will cherish poetry till the end.
My pen, my paper, my words...
My Poetry.
