My Pop-Pop

Ronald J. Bianchini, an Italian-American man who stands at 5’7

My grandfather, my mentor, my true gift from Heaven

He wears Hawaiian shirts, jeans and trims his beard to perfection

This happy, loving man gets the most positive reception

The connection between my grandfather and I is more than just special

He is the father I never had, my whole word in a nutshell.

“Remember the three C’s”, something he taught me since birth

Cooperation, compassion, communication, all needed on this Earth

Each time we part I look forward to his warm embrace

I look at him and say I love you Pop-Pop with a smile on my face

His response is always the same without a doubt

As I walk away, “I love you better” he would always shout

I am who I am because of this man

And I will continue to succeed and be the best that I can

For him
