My prayer

Lord I need help, Like what the heck is wrong? I’m trying to live for you, But my minds completely gone. I’m caught up in the sin, I’m caught up in the lust, And everything I don’t need, Just feels like a must. I feel like breaking down, I feel like just crying, I try to be strong, But I keep on relying. On the wrong things, When all I need is you, So please pick me up, I need to know what to do. Is my name Elijah? Or is my name a fake? Cause in everything I do, I always make mistakes. Lord I’m growing up, One day I’ll be a father, But how am I going to take care of my son and daughter? Lord help my future kids, Don’t let them be like me, I don’t want them growing up, Having insecurity. I need them to be strong, To be the next generation, So when they look at me, They’ll have true admiration, Thanking their daddy, For teaching them how to live, How to follow you, And how to forgive. And as for my wife, She’s somewhere out there, Look after her Lord, Keep her in good care. Because I want to make a change, Be the leader of the pack, I’m on the battlefield Lord, Don’t let me get sacked. Because self control, Is what I might lack, But I’m trying to move forward, Don’t let sin hold me back.
