My Precious Panther

I was alone,

Not many friends to boast,

I felt unsewn,

I was simply a ghost.

Yet I was stitched together,

For I found the answer,

For no matter the gloomiest weather,

I had my panther.

Amadeus was the name,

The name of my new life,

A name that came from fame,

Loneliness was no longer running rife.

Darker than a moonless night,

With fur softer than a summer breeze,

My time with him is pure delight,

My loneliness has been appeased.

All Amadeus knows is love,

And that he shows greatly,

I swear he comes from above,

His love has come innately.

No longer alone,

With my friend by my side,

Loneliness overthrown,

From the love my panther has supplied.
