My Prison

Fear is like a dark prison

It often feels in escapable

Like I can never be free

But there is a light that at first I didn’t see

It came from facing the fear that burdens me

And the more I embrace my cell

The more the light shines

Helping me see my surroundings

And I realize that the prison was only in my mind
