My Puppet

Loyal and faithful. You are my tool and I your master. I push, pull Manipulate, elevate... your strings... But the never seem to break, with me at least... I control you, use you, train you, and take care of you. You, my weapon I use in battle. Together we titillate, insinuate, devastate, the masses... Without you I'm nothing. With you we change lives, create tears, and provide smiles... Miles and miles our names will go far, you, My guitar.

Thank you sooo much. This poem actually is a bit old. Do you mind reviewing and critizing my other poems, in particular the life of a poet. I want to submit it to a contest soon and would love the feedback. In return I promise to read all of yours :) Thank you!

I love this poem. I like the dark tone it has that alludes to a controlling, almost abusive relationship and then the sudden relief and surprise when the relationship turns out to be one with a guitar. Great job. I like your freestyle format as well.
