My Quiet Place

There's a place that I go,

that's not far from here.

It's always quiet

and so very near.

It doesn't say much,

but is always all ears.

It's been this way,

for oh so many years.

I never worry, I never fear,

NO doubt at all, nope not here!

For now I am strong, smart and kind,

because of that quiet place,

that was never far behind.

Thank you for the love and support for all this time.

How I love you, Grandpa of mine!
