My Réneebow

Every day seems a little gray
With at least someone, something, someplace
To stand in my way
It's not all black and white,
all the stories of souls
that sing of their fight.
Their fight to find that moment of joy, of laughter, of glee
My fight ends when you are with me.

You are the Thelma to my Louise,
the partner in crime, the rhythm to my time.
We're sisters in heart, and were devious rebels from the start.
Remember that time, when we stayed up all night,
playing Uno with your brother and laughing till we died?
We never did anything like skipped him on purpose, right?

There never is a moment of gray
to my days.
For you are all the colorful rays
that shine through after a rainy day.
People describe you as amazing and kind
You are more than that, though
You are beautiful and refined.

The Batman to my Spiderman
We may belong to different families,
but we are each other's wing "man".
You're awesome as awesome can be
I love you, Brandy Rénee.
