My Real Feelings

Feelings inside my heart are unspoken to no one

Afraid to open up; Afraid of heartbreak

I smile to hide my pain

I smile a deceitful one

I smile to hide my insecurities

Love keeps me happy

Love makes me warm inside

Your love gives me wings

It breaks away my shackles

A blissful love lets me know, At least one person

                      Loves

                      Cares

                      Inspires

                      Notices

                      Appreciates

                  ME!

You choose to love me? Why?

I’m ugly, bony, and weird!

According to society beauty is

        Light skin

        Long hair

       With a big butt

But Why?

Not everyone looks like that

Why was I created ugly?

Im ashamed of my inner self

So I lie to everyone I love

I hide my pain and hatred in myself

Keep them bottled up

Why was my body cursed?

I don’t like myself

But Yet, someone loves me!

        ME!

That feeling is …incredible!

My breath is taken away

He gives my cold skin warmth

Those strong arms wrapped around me

Pulling me close

When he lets go; my skin turns cold

He makes me smile; happy

He gives me sunshine

Hes in love with something ugly

In his eyes im beautiful

Can we change eyes?

I don’t see what he does

I want to, but I just cant

He gives my life hope to it

I love him! Forever! Eternity!

I cant see me not in your arms

Keeping my safe and secure

He finds himself to be unattractive

I find him to be beautiful inside and out

His eyes big and dark

They show me his soul

They show me his hurt

His eyes get bigger when he looks deep into my eyes

I wish we could switch eyes

He needs to see what I do!

That’s probably how he feels about me

I see his face when I let myself down

He tries so hard to make me love myself….

But I can’t….I never will

I guess we lift each other’s spirits

Try to help each other feel beautiful

But when we are alone to face ourselves…

We hate the reflection that our significant other loves, why?

I guess we are each other’s missing puzzle piece

We complete each other…..
