My Relationship With School

I love to learn, but I hate school

Homework just makes me feel like a fool.

I love to read, just not textbooks

And hate my classmate's dirty looks.

Oh, don't even start to mention tests

And bullies are much more than pests.

I wake up at a quarter to seven

And my early bedtime is at eleven.

Now senior year means I get to stress

About what college would be best.

And getting loans and scholarships

Is making my stomach do painful flips.

I want to say shut up and listen

These are my thoughts that I have written.

But no one cares enough to see

The agony inside of me.
