My religion is me

Stuck, can’t  escape until I reach my fate. Can’t help but change, but all I want is to stay the same.

Who I was, was a sin, I must move on so I may fit in. Losing my sight, I still won’t go down without

a fight. But my fate will go down by what poeple say is the worst, my parents might even call it a curse.

A chance to tell everyone who I really am or give them a chance to think different of a friend they once had.

I still wanna be me but that chance has flew as far as I can see. Before you take who i am I never wanted to

change you why do you wanna change me? My religion is different, but my faith is strong, my beliefs are still

mine forever long. Losing my patience while praying for forgiveness. Washing me hands but the water is wasted.

Hard to find and end when there’s no beginning. You opened my eyes and showed me your visions. Waiting for the

judgment to fall upon my head. Hope someone is there to pray for me when I am dead. I’m not ready to say goodbye

to my religion so I’ll say goodbye to you instead. Your not here your not there, looking everywhere while waiting in dispair.

I say I’m fine but that’s a lie, they took my sight now I am blind, now all I can do is sigh and say I’m fine. Now it’s time to say goodbye,

leave me be so I may fly. This process seems easy and steady but I’m still not ready.
