My Reminder

Nowhere to go, stranded with no one in sight.

I have but only a picture of the one I love.

It seems to push me to live another day,

To not give up on my life but to push pass the barriers this deserted island hasto offer.

The picture is a reminder of why I continue to fight for my life.

A reminder that I cannot live without her,

A reminder that she cannot live without me.

As well as a reminder that I need to push until either help comes first or till my last breath.

The picture is my only hope, my joy, a reminder for why I will not give up.
