My Repeating Nightmare

Location

There is a hole in the ground that seems to call my name,
It sinks six feet and is roughly three feet wide,
And it calls my name.
I ask who's there and try to keep a distance,
I don't want to fall in this mysterious hole,
I fear that I might not get out,
It asks me to get closer so I take 3 steps in,
Baby steps because there is a hole six feet deep,
And it calls my name.
Above the hole lies a white rock,
On this rock it reads "where hope was never lost",
But it quickly fades and turns into something else,
I cant read it so I step a little closer,
Carefully because there is a hole six feet deep,
And it calls my name.
The White rock begins to turn grey,
And the words are not the same,
It reads "They took his future"
But it quickly fades and turns to something else,
It makes it hard to read so I step a little closer,
Careful not to fall in the hole that sinks six feet,
And calls my name,
They grey rock has aged and stands in black,
Tattered and torn it reads "Victim of drunk driving",
But fades and turns into something else,
So I step a little closer close enough to see,
The body of a young 4 year old boy,
Who calls my name,
And calls my name,
And on the much aged rock it reads,
"Why did you kill me?"
